Screen black but phone on

iPhone 11 screen is black but phone is on and works. Water damage indicator is negative. Screen and phone has no damage. Any suggestions?

thanks! I tried those things. Also have appointment for today. Was hoping for some other suggestions to try before appointment

Press the top volume button, then press the bottom one, and then lastly hold the off/on button for at least one minute.

If the device’s screen still doesn’t turn on, then contact Apple.
