Copying single photo’s from iPad to Mac is no problem but the folders I made on iPad can’t be copied as a whole folder to Mac

Keep your photos and videos up to date with iCloud Photos
Then there is No Need to copy form iPad to Apple Computer.
The folder on the iPad will just appear after syncing to the Apple Computer in Photos.
iOS is for iDevices and macOS is for Apple Computers.
From my experience, Apple expects the user to perform their due diligence and their own research.
If the user can get an external drive that can connect to the iPad and can be recognized in iOS. Then, Copy the 2 TB of photos to that drive and hope and pray the same Drive can be used on macOS.
Do not have any suggestions as Do not use iPads.

It begs the question, what actions has the user taken to fix this issue ?
That is unless there might be some other agenda involved ?
You could create a new album in Photos when importing to match what is on your iPad.
So, there is no direct way to do this ? Weird
Does it work if you make a new folder on your mac, select all the pictures in a folder on your ipad and copy all the selected photos to the folder on your mac?
Yes , that works but I don’t wanna make new folders , I just want to copy them to mac
So I have to mak a new album on mac , then select all the pictures that I want in this map and copy them. But that’s what already has been doe on my iPad . So I have to do this work twice !
I don’t want all my pictures on iCloud .That will be 2Tb and I don’t want to pay for that
I don’t understand why apple doesn’t provide the possibility of copy paste whole folders from iPad to mac . Could be so simple
