Numeric keys on my MacBook Air not working

How come numeric keys on my MacBook Air early 2015, sometimes don’t respond. Even why I try running off and toggle keys .

Numeric Keypad issue Computer is Mac Mini, Ventura 13.2, Magic Keyboard with numeric keypad. Keyboard pairs fine but numeric keypad does not work. Cannot seem to get it to work. Ideas?
