Message sound

Receiving no text messaging sound on iPhone X.

yes getting sound only on Apple Watch.

searched all reviews and suggestions and found that you suggested, I have to turn off wrist notification on my Apple watch to be able to receive text sound on both ph & watch.

but if I turn this off then I lose all those options from on my watch , For what I brought it for, not worth buying watch if I have to do that .
