How do I transfer home movies from MacBook to iPad
I want to watch home movies I have on my MacBook Pro (running OS 12.1) on my iPad. How do I transfer them? Nothing I have found online works.

You have to import them into iTunes / TV App, and then sync them to the iPad using Finder.
