The iPhone storage
the phone says that my storage is full and I trying to free some space by deleting some things and it still won’t work and it is asking me to buy some more why is that?

That would imply that your iCloud storage is full, not your device storage. You cannot buy more device storage, but you can subscribe for more iCloud storage.
