Apple Watch isn’t connected even though iPhone says it is

my phone says that my apple watch is connected & I do get regular notifications on my watch, but the watch is permanently saying that it isn’t connected & it also doesn’t send my activity process to my phone.

ive already reset my watch but it doesn’t help
