Does the Time Machine backup no longer include backing up Messages to an external hard drive? I have previously backed up my 2015 MacBook as recently as 2020 with "Messages" showing up in the backup on an external hard drive, but this is not happening with the 2021 MacBook. Not sure if it is due to the new laptop or a software update.
TLDR: Does Time Machine back up your Messages?

Verify Messages is not excluded
