Transfer data from old mac to new one .. both are Pro and old one is less than 5 years

I started a migration assistant transfer using a WIFI connection between a new Mac Pro and an older one. Both have USB-c connections. The wifi méthod is a bit slow, Can I pause and continue the transfer using a direct cable between the two computers? No mention of this in Migration Assistant

Hello shihabfromwashington,

If you're using migration assistant via Wi-Fi and the process is not going as quickly as you expected, you can start the process over again with the two Mac computers directly connected via a cable.
