I am transitioning files from Garage Band into Logic Pro. On some files I get the record buttons but on others I do not.
I can record thru my Apollo Twin on any single channel by clicking on the channel and hitting the red record button on top.
I cannot do multi channel recording because there are no record buttons on the individual channels.
Thoughts?

You just need to control / right-click on a track where there's no "R" button, then select "Configure Track Header..." from the drop-down context menu:

What do the input settings on the tracks that do, as opposed to those that don't?
