I want to dl several videos from my iphone to my Mac but I don't want to use the photos app because I want to easily play them using Quicktime. Is there an easy way to do this? The videos are too big for airdrop to handle.

If you do not want to use Photos App, and are not able to use AirDrop then the best would be to use Image Capture from the Utilities of the Mac that you have. Transfer images in Image Capture on Mac - Apple Support
