Can I add cellular service to a GPS only Apple Watch?

I was wondering, if I get my Apple Watch series 7 just with regular GPS, I have the option to switch it with GPG + cellular?

its cause I don’t like that I have to keep my phone nearby to use some of the functions on my phone
