iTunes on New MacBook Pro 14"

Whenever I delete a song, heart a song, add a song to a playlist, or make any change regarding my music on iTunes on my MacBook, whenever I quit the app then reopen it again after a certain period of time, all the changes I have made will be undone and I'll have to re-delete what I deleted and such. Is this happening to anyone else?
