Hi

Select the image(s) you want to delete, then hit the delete key (or image>delete)

If you are looking at the image in an album, then you will also need to hold down CMD while deleting since in an album, the defaut delete operation is just to remove it from the album, and not the library.

After the delete it is placed into the "recently deleted" folder where it will set for around 30 days, and then be permanently deleted. If you want to remove it completely straight away, you need to also delete it from "recently deleted.
