iPhone 11 Pro Max not connecting to Cadillac SRX

I have a Cadillac SRX and I am able to play music with my iPhone 11 but not my iPhone 11 Pro Max? Like it won’t connect and I use it with USB cable

If your iPhone won't connect with your car, you'll want to start with these basic troubleshooting steps:


Restart your device and your car.
Make sure that your device is unlocked and on the Home screen.
If possible, try to connect using another cable or USB port. Check the manual that came with your car to learn how to connect an Apple device.
Check your charging port for any debris or damage. Make sure that your charging cable is properly inserted into the port.
Update your device.
Make sure that your stereo is using the latest firmware from the car manufacturer. Check your car's manual for more information.

How to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your car


You'll also want to make sure in Settings > Face ID & Passcode, that you have the "USB Accessories" option turned on.


If the car you're trying to connect to is using the CarPlay software, then you'll want to make sure you have set up CarPlay between that device and the car.


Use CarPlay with your iPhone


If that car is using the CarPlay software and the device won't connect through that, here's some additional steps you can try: If you need help with CarPlay


If it still will not connect with the car, you'll want to contact Apple for assistance: Get Support
