My new Apple Watch Series 7 is not turning on.

My brand new Apple Watch is not turning on. It is sitting on the charger it came with. The other end of the charger isn’t a usb end, but another kind. I’m confused

The watch, as with most Apple products sold by Apple, should come charged. But, you can certainly charge it using the charger plugged into a USB-C port on a computer or a charging brick with USB-C. Buy 20W USB-C Power Adapter - Apple
