Hello - I'm looking for a simple way to pan audio left and right. I don't want to use any specific DAW (Logic, Final Cut, etc.). I want to do this whether audio is playing from Spotify, Safari, or anywhere... if i have my audio output connected to external speakers, is there an easy way to achieve this on the computer? Thanks!

Try the Audio MIDI app, I just had a look, and had a test too, try moving the sliders numbered 1 and 2, with 1 being left, and 2 being right, and you'll be able to change the mix between them. Not quite a dial, but still something.

Follow the advice about using Audio MIDI Setup - that is the full name -, which lives in /Applications/Utilities.
