No credit card option in add payment in india

I see only net banking and UPI as methods of payments in India. Why has credit card been discontinued?

Indeed you cannot add CC as a payment method in India.

Apple ID balance (from adding funds)
Net Banking4 (adding funds only)
UPI4 (adding funds only)
