I have one air pod that is dead and I can’t find my case with other one in it is there a way to locate the case and the AirPod in it

Unfortunately, if the missing AirPod is in its charging case, you will not be able to use Find My to locate it. You would have to go physically looking for it. The charging case, itself, would not be discoverable with Find My ... only the AirPod.
