Migration Assistant

Can I wipe my old Mac after migration assistant ? Will it remove everything from my new Mac ?

You can wipe your drive any time you choose as much as you choose. Erase is erase .... everything gone! But erase only works on the machine you're working on. Once disconnected, the Macs are independent of each other.
