How do I search for songs in iTunes Store?

I'm having trouble searching for songs in the iTunes store with my new Mac Mini.

Mac mini, macOS 12.3

Having trouble searching songs in the iTunes Store. I want to purchase songs in the iTunes store on my desktop Mac but I'm having trouble with searching for the songs I want in the iTunes Store! I try to search in the upper left search bar and then try to click the iTunes Store option but it always searches within the Apple Music option. I find the song I want but there's no option to buy, only to preview but when I click the preview button there's a popup add for Apple Music subscription. How do you search for music in the itunes store on a mac? Apparently, this is an issue that's been a problem for people for years now, judging by the similar questions in that time frame.
