How do I delete all photos from my phone without deleting them from my laptop where I just downloaded them?

How do I delete all photos from my phone without deleting them from my laptop where I just downloaded them? Really, just how do I delete them all without having to do it manually one at a time?

If you download photos to your computer and don’t use iCloud Photos (Settings/[your name]/iCloud - Photos OFF) to do it then you can safely delete them from your phone. If you do sync using iCloud photos then deleting photos from your phone will also delete them from iCloud and from all devices synced to iCloud.

If you have a macOS computer:

(macOS Catalina) If you transferred the photos to the Mac via Image Capture, at the bottom left there is an option -> Delete after import.

Place a check in the check box there.
