my brand new apple watch won't turn on

I bought a new apple watch yesterday, charge it for 5-6 hours but I can not turn it on. I have tried the step in this guide If your Apple Watch won't charge or it won't turn on - Apple Support but it does not work.

Please help

I would return it to wherever you bought it. It may be defective.
