How do I find my old password to unlock my phone

So I’m trying to verify my Apple ID thing but it’s saying I need my old password that unlocked my phone but I don’t remember it (hence it not being my passcode) and the whole things confusing and I wanna know how to figure out this old password so I can continue using my phone and all extensions

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
