Do you see it if you log in to https://reportaproblem.apple.com? If not, it was a different Apple ID that is using your payment method. Another family member, perhaps?

When I go to purchase history I have no purchases listed for any amount of money. My bank is reporting a monthly recurring charge of 4.99 and lists apple.com as the payee
