why cant I select my photo library on my MacBook - I tried to use the preferences under photo to select my photo as the main library and it won't let me help

Cannot select photos from my main photo library on my MacBook. I tried opening photos and going to preferences , but it will not let me select my photo library as the System Phot library

If the button for setting a library as the System Photo Library is greyed out it already is the System Photo Library:



So if that's the case where are you not being able to select photos in the library?


What Photos and system versions are you running?
