Downloaded music after the end of the prepaid tariff

Q: When I have an Apple music subscription and downloaded music on my device for offline playback from it, will the downloaded music disappear from my device after the tariff of my Apple music subscription expires, or will the downloaded music stay on my device and I will only lose my subscription benefits?
