My MacBook pro 2021 16" is having this issue with the mini-LED backlight where it appears to cause a lot of blooming (like extreme amounts) and even flickers when showing a black screen leaving some areas lit and others flickering on and off. I first noticed it watching content at night but is now worrying me as I have spent so much money on this laptop.
