Apple watch rings not showing fireworks when all 3 are closed
Does anybody know why I didn't get the "fireworks" when I closed all 3 rings? I used to but not this past week!

I was having the same issue. I went into the Watch app on my phone and turned off "Show Summary When Locked", "Tap to Show Full Notification", and "Show Notifications on Wrist Down" and the fireworks came back! Honestly, it is probably only one of those but I haven't experimented with it to figure out which.
Everything (so far) is working the way I want so I'm going to leave it for now. FWIW, this started about a week ago when I was trying to find out how to turn off notifications for one app (that was driving me crazy). Turning on these notifications was a first step (which didn't work). Finally found out the app had it's own entry in the Notifications menu and was able to get it set correctly.
