How can I arrange my images in photos by date created? Thank you

In Photos the library albums are either sorted by the capture date or the date added. For new photos the capture date should be the date created. but the creation date of a file is not necessarily the date the photo has been taken, if the file has been copied around or modified. We cannot sort directly by the "date created", only by the capture date.

Look into an album, that is sorted by the capture date - "All Photos" is sorted by the capture date, while "Imports" or "Recents" are sorted by the date the photo has been added.

Any album you create yourself can be sorted the capture date or the title.

They should be in date order by default.
