deleted music on my mac

I was creating a playlist on my Mac and inadvertently dragged my entire library of music into it. I went to delete the music from that list, but it instead then deleted all the music in my entire library. How can I restore it? The music is still on my iPhone and I do back-up to the cloud.

She would like to remove the physical music files (mp3/acc eat.) from her hard drive, but keep the playlists with streaming versions of the songs from Apple Music. I know you can do this with the iPhone by going to the Music app preferences and deleting downloaded files. Is this possible on a Mac, or will the songs have to be re-added through Music?

restore deleted playlist on apple music One of my playlists was deleted or just disappeared. I'm actually not sure. But since I just got my macbook I haven't been able to setup time machine and it turns out my phone's last backup is from 9 months ago. Needless to say that the cross platform sync came in "really handy"... :') Is there maybe another way to restore a playlist?

How to recover deleted tracks from my Apple Music library? HI. I deleted the music in my Apple Music library, thinking these tracks would remain in the playlists I had put them into. Unfortunatly, the tracks disapeared from my playlists, on mac and iphone. Is there a way to recover everything? I use an Apple Music subscription.

You should be able to retire the library if you have been making Time Machine backups.

Syncing is meant to go from the computer to the iPhone, not the other way around. You can try this:
