My 2020 MacBook air will not allow newest update and it randomly restarting?

Hi,

Try to boot in safe mode, then normal boot could solve the issue.

Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, try to check your MacBook Air with Apple Diagnostics if it reports something hardware related error.
