How do you connect an MacBook Pro (2022) to iMac (Retina 5k, 270inch, 2017)? I would like to use my iMac as a second screen to my MacBook Pro.

You don't. Both computers are far too new to support the moribund Target Display Mode (TDM).
If both are running macOS Monterey, you may be able to use the new Airplay To Mac feature but reports says it is laggy. Also, like TDM, AirPlay to Mac only allows mirroring, not extended desktop.
