Apple TV with 15.4 os doesn’t show HomePod mini in default audio setting, However it does work with temporary audio setting. How can I add HomePod mini as default speaker? Tried resetting HomePod mini as well Apple TV. It didn’t help.
Apple TV is 4K model. Today morning in HomeKit app, it send me notification to use HomePod mini as home theater.
Once I said yes to that, I see HomePods-mini in default speaker now. Not sure why it was not showing up yesterday when I was trying to setup manually as default speaker.

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support
The HD model doesn’t support the “default audio” configuration, but the 4K models do.
