For clarification purposes, I would first ask one question. Is this also true when you manually do a request for download? If so, then the problem lies in the email service provider's web site. For some reason the system is not sending current emails in response. To be clear, whenever your email app requests a download, the email server responds. I suggest that you contact your provider's customer service people for help with this problem. They can look and determine what is on their server and what is being sent to you.
