I tried to update my iphone 11 to the newest one and everything was going as usual until my screen went black then suddenly showed a laptop with the apple cable going into it telling me that i need to restore my Iphone. I had a friend try to do it for me but it kept giving me an error. I have another iphone set up with the same icloud and im wondering if i’m able to erase the data from my iphone 11 and not have to restore it.

I forget the exact numbers following the error but my friend explained that my phone is basically stuck in a cycle of trying to restart itself. I’m sorry if that isn’t helpful i’m just hoping there’s a way i can use the phone again
If the device is stuck in a restore loop, and you cannot remember the error number, you are going to have to contact Apple support. Use the Get Support link at the top of the page here.
