canon camera not showing photos on mac book pro
canon rebel show up in photos under devices, but no pictures are populating to import

The first thing we recommend is confirming the right steps are being done to Import photos from a camera or phone using Photos on Mac.
While you may need to contact Canon about this, along with checking for compatibility, have you been successful in connecting it to a different computer?
