My MAC keeps saying the Security update needs to be installed, I say to update it, my computer restarts, but then the window pops up again saying the same thing. I have done this 5 times?

Are you running any anti-virus software, cleaning apps, or third party security software which may be interfering with the normal operation of macOS? These types of apps are not needed on a Mac and usually causes more problems than they solve plus they impact system performance.

You can try booting into Safe Mode and trying to install the update again while booted into Safe Mode.
