I've inserted a numbered list in an email (Mail App, version 15), but I need to change it from numbers to letters - to match the format of the email I'm replying to. How do I do this?

If formatting is important, create the email response in a word processing app and save the file as a PDF. Attach the PDF to the email. Email clients are not word processing apps and therefore do not include advanced formatting functionality.
