where is my old itunes library?

I had a ton of music in my ITunes library and although some music (not all) has appeared on my SE, i cant get it to sync on my new ipad and cannot access it on my PC.

iTunes library is empty, yet iPad Music library is full of music I recently replaced my PC, and since then my music hasn't played well from my iPad. All the music I had originally added from the old PC is still listed on my iPad (although not downloaded) and I cannot get anything from iTunes onto it. Ideally I'd rather wipe all those album references from the iPad, rebuild my music library from my MP3s, and sync those onto the iPad. Any thoughts on accomplishing this? So far I can delete them one album at a time, but with 500+ more to go I'd like to get this done before the month is over... ;-)

I have many song playable on old iTunes not purchased from apple, but I can’t get into my library on my iPhone or iPad. How do I get them to play on my apple devices? I cannot get my old iTunes library copied into my new iPhone. My library includes many songs purchased as cd’s, not purchased from apple. How do I get them into my new iPad and iPhone?

Ensure that your iPhone and your iPad are signed into the same Apple ID
On each device, open Settings ➡️ Music ➡️ Sync Library: Ensure that this is set to ON.

Yes. Either you can subscribe to Music OR you can load your own music on the devices.

Thank you for the prompt response. Music and sync library are not accessible. Must I buy an Apple Music account to do this?
