How do you upload documents from notes to a portal using share file?

The share file feature will not work because the Portal will have to be a part of the sharing option. More than likely that portal is not. If you have documents saved within Notes then I recommend that you save them (share file option) to your Files app. Once you have those documents in the Files app, then you can upload them directly to the portal.
