Update
how do I update my iPhone 6 Plus? I current have iOS 12 and in settings it says that my device is up to date. I can not download certain apps like amazon. Please tell me there is a way around this!?

It is not possible, iPhone 6 Plus is an outdated iPhone (9 september 2014), can’t be update to a higher iOS.
iOS 12.5.5 is last security updates for iPhone 6 Plus, -> released 23 september 2021.
