iPhone messages screen

How do I get my messages to be in full screen mode while orientation lock is turned off and my phone is sideways? It was this way on my iPhone 11 pro max, but now on my 13 pro max, it's split screen.

I just answered my own question.... iPhone 11 screen was set to "zoomed". In zoomed mode, messages come up full screen in landscape.
