How to prevent windows to become full screen when touching the top bar?

Hello everyone.

I am a long-time Mac user who recently moved to Monterey. Everything works great, but just one little feature bothers me. I am talking about the new feature (I don't know the name of), which allows to put in fullscreen any Finder window by just dragging the window towards the top bar, and once they touch, the window is put in full screen. That annoys me and makes me waste a lot of time. I am wondering if there is a way to prevent that from happening. Any ideas?

FWIW, I have 4 installs of Monterey 12.2.1 and none will maximize by dragging a window to the top of the screen. However, both BetterTouchTool and Magnet add such a feature, possibly others.

On man, you are absolutely right, my mistake, the problem was caused by BetterTouchTool. I guess the age is getting its toll on my mind!

Bumping the top of the display will open mission control so you can place the app into another desktop. I guess if you drop the app into the Desktop bar it might make it full screen. Ive never ran into a problem as you describe.

No, I am sorry, it doesn't open mission control, it just makes the window full screen as shown in the video.

No, I’m sorry, it doesn’t for me, as I already stated.

I was able to check on macOS and not only do you have to drop it into the top Desktop bar to make it go to full screen, you have to wait for a while before it is possible to turn it into a Full Screen app.
