Is there a way to export original footage?

Is there a way to export original footage from Final Cut? I want to be able to have a freind edit some video from some of my final cut libraries on an old mac mini that can't update past Catalina. What is the easliest way to get around that?

Not sure what you mean here.

You have the footage, you can send it to your friend.

You should not need to export anything, unless you want to convert it to some other format, or perhaps if you just want to send part of it.

You can select clips in the browser and export them, but if it is the originals you want, just control-click, reveal in Finder and copy them to an external drive and pass it on to your friend.
