Deleting iCloud Keychain Device Access

I recently went to remove an account from Internet Accounts in Settings, and got a warning that said that the account would be removed "from all your computers using iCloud Keychain" — and two Macs were listed which were from previous employment. I was sure I removed iCloud accounts from these. How can I ensure that iCloud Keychain is no longer synced on machines to which I no longer have access?

Hello again sharprichnorth,

Per the Apple Support article, Set up iCloud Keychain, "When you turn off iCloud Keychain, the password and credit card information is stored locally on the device. If you sign out of iCloud on that device while Keychain is turned on, you're asked to keep or delete that information. If you choose to keep the information, it isn't deleted or updated when you make changes on other devices. If you don't choose to keep the information on at least one device, your Keychain data will be deleted from your device and the iCloud servers."

So as long as you opted to delete the information when you signed out of Keychain, your data is no longer synced to either device. This info can be found in the article under "What happens when I turn off iCloud Keychain on a device?"

We hope this helps you. Have a great day!
