Many emails disappeared and are not coming on MacBook Pro

Suddenly emails stopped coming to my Macbook Pro but they are on Google webmail. Also many of the emails on the mail account disappeared.

Do you get any kind of a message or does it show as offline?If you can’t send or receive email on your Mac - Apple Support
