my macbook always shuts down when my cursor is in the left corner

anyone with the same issue? Or does anyone know how to fix this?

Constantly disappearing cursor I have a brand new MacBook Air. It is very frustrating that this very expensive computer cannot perform such a simple function as to have the cursor work properly. MacBook Pro will not shut down Additional info. Keyboard mouse still moving but screen is not responding. Little rectangle in middle of screen apprears to show prior screen image. I can use mouse to check battery life but all other comands do nothing. Help.

I am going to speculate that you configured a "hot corner" that puts the display to sleep.
