External USB cameras after Monterey upgrade

After we upgraded our Macbook Air's to macOS Monterey the Hovercam's (Solo 8 Plus) we had quit being reliable. Sometimes the video would work but mostly it would just hang at initializing.

Appears that Hovercam support is able to provide an updated firmware and install tool that fixes the issue. You cannot find it on their download site.

Hope this info helps anyone out there with same problem.
