How to downgrade MacOS

I purchased iMac 27inches 2021 model which got shipped with BigSur. But I need to downgrade it to Mojave as my software works only with Mojave. Can anyone help…

No can do, you cannot downgrade Mac OS to a version of Mac OS earlier than what the Mac originally shipped with. You have choices though:


  1. Update the software in question to it's 64 bit equivalent.
  2. If you cannot do #1, replace the apps with other products that are 64 bit.
  3. Return the Mac and buy a used one.
